    You can start a simple blog about something you have some knowledge and experience with and really enjoy.

    I did this and starting putting up Adsense and Cpa Offers and started making money within a month

    You can start by figuring out what YOU want to do.

    You see, your question is just like asking, "What kind of offline / brick and mortar business should I build?"

    There are so many different ways to make money online, just as there are many different ways to make money offline.

    Do some research on various business models and figure out what resonates with you.

    Some models worth researching (and there are many others):

    - affiliate marketing

    - Kindle Publishing

    - creating and selling your own product

    - freelancing

    Once you decide what kind of business you want to pursue, you'll be able to ask more specific questions and get better answers.

      Welcome Sam-

      I would suggest you spend some time on the forum watching and observing what's going on. You will soon start to see some patterns. Follow those that you think have good solid answers for others. Avoid those that seem to hype everything and those that are totally negative.

      Don't buy things just yet - there will be plenty of time for that after you have a solid business plan and a selling system in place.

      Make good use of the search function (it works best when you are quite specific).

      Remember this: everything starts with market demand. Find a hungry group of people looking for a solution or a desire. Build your business around satisfying or fulfilling their needs and you will be successful.

    I recommend determining your skill sets, and from there offering a simple yet straight forward service to people, or businesses, who need the skills you have to offer.

    Don't over complicate making money, online or offline, in your own business. Yes, it is true a service type business requires your time, you say however you need nothing big to earn, so I'm making the assumption you have some time.

    offer one service. Do it well. Stay focused. You will be fine.

    I highly recommend you do affiliate marketing, you do not need to have your own products to sell. Go to clickbank or Amazon to get product. If you have a little money you can buy both domain and hosting, but if you do not have, it's still ok. You can use direct link to sell the product man. Sell by free traffic methods. Hope this help!

      Not a magic bullet, but those 4 variables/steps in the List encapsulates it very nicely .And I hadn't seen it phrased exactly like that.

    You can start where you are expert. Such as if you know how to write content, you can do blogging. You can buy a domain & hosting. Even you can use the free features also if you want. But it would better to do business for long time, if you buy these. Then post some important & original article . No Plagiarism, please. Do some SEO to increase your site traffic & page rank.     My personal advice is to spend a lot of time on product research or topic that you want to sell or deal.
    If you have a passion or you considers expert in something focused on that, and see if we demand.
    Otherwise do much research on the web about what the aims and people demand market, subscribe to forums related to what you want to be treated, the initial search in my opinion, is the most important step, good luck.

      you need to ask yourself this question. Sadly, asking a forum will bring you a slew of information, that could be good or bad. The biggest mistake you can make is reading everything people tell you on here. You will end up in a tornado of information while still wondering where to start. Save yourself the time, think about what you like, find a problem those people face. Ex) if you like basketball you would want to think to yourself "what is a problem other people who like basketball face"..... maybe it can be they dont jump high enough..... now you can make a workout that claims it can raise your vertical 3 inches.... now you have a product that fulfills a problem they have.... once you have the solution then you can work with affiliates or a network to promote so you only have to pay per sale

    Do you know what you want to use to drive traffic?
    Do you know how you plan on making money? (eg. Amazon, cpa offers, adsense, etc)?
