I love outsourcing articles!

Attempted to write my own articles for my niche sites - no luck (it is pure agony to write about things I don't care about).

Outsourced my first 10 articles today and already I'm breathing better and overall wellness improved.

Can't wait to post them tomorrow, kick back and enjoy traffic and newly squared income.

Do you write your articles or outsource them?

Outsourcing is the way to go assuming you can find someone who can do a decent job at a reasonable price.

I completely agree. Who are you using to write your articles?

I always outsource my niche articles. That way I can actually concentrate and work ON my business instead of IN my business.

I do about 50/50 - I actually hate outsourcing because it's so hard to find writers that can write to my exact specifications. Good writers usually move on very quickly - most of mine have moved into internet marketing themselves. I usually write all my own articles to submit to EZA or my blog, and I outsource those that I put on my sites.

I like it when people love outsourcing articles, because then I get to write articles for them!

The key to outsourcing is to find someone that fits well with your needs. Don't choose on the basis of how cheap they are (you'll almost always get what you pay for), and don't choose on how quickly they say they can get those articles to you. Price and turnaround time are important...but you have to base your decision on all factors together. Don't go with a writer who isn't willing to supply you with a fresh sample, written on the topic of your choice and per your instructions.

For example, you can ask for a 300-word sample article written around the key phrase "green living products" using 2% keyword saturation. When the writer submits it to you, check to see that the article is well-written and reasonably informative, that the keywords are placed correctly, and that there are the right number of them inserted. (You may or may not agree to pay for the sample article no matter what, but if you do like what you see, you should definitely pay for it.)

If there is something about the sample article that you don't like, let the writer know and see how efficiently he or she changes it to suit you.

You can tell a lot from this initial give and take. Even though it may take some time at first, you could end up with a great working relationship about which you feel very confident. In business, that's important.

    Okay, I've had my say!

This was my first time outsourcing. I went onto Digital Forum (wasn't sure where to go on this forum) and picked a writer based on overall feedback.

Price was $0.01 per word. Will see what kind of quality I get... Will let you know tomorrow when articles arrive.

    I'm hopeful :-)

Prepare to be disappointed. The problem with going by feedback there is many of those leaving feedback don't speak/write proper English, so they don't know that the articles they are getting are crap, lol. The only know that they are better than they could have written themselves, and assume that means they are well written. Too often they aren't, and at $0.01 a word, I'm betting yours won't be either. You could get lucky though. It happens.

I've never outsourced before, however, I have seen what blackhatcat is talking about. I'm not sure if what I saw was outsourced or simply a person that did not pay much attention in high school English classes.

There are tons of these e-books out there that you get resell and master resell rights to. The problems I have encountered are:
        • The content is very mediocre. Lot sof fluff and no meat.
        • The grammar is horrible! I'm no English Lit graduate, but I am able to write decent grammatically correct articles.
It is at these times when I sit back and have to chuckle. These people actually expect me to pay for the content? I don't mean I would steal it, but if I were to use it and utilize their resell "license" I would have to spend time reading through the entire article or e-book and rewrite it so that it does not sound like a grade school kid wrote it.

It's a lot of work for sure.

I enjoy writing but like mentioned in this thread, it's very time consuming. I've decided to outsource articles for "unproven niches". That way, there's a clear distinction as to what I put my time into. It's working so far - more time is freed up anyway!

Here's a small tip and encouragement on that.

    1. You normally find better writers on elance.com and scriptlance.com, avoid getting writers just based on feedback alone. It would be good to get some direct recommendations from guys in warriors or just from your local forum buddies.

    2. If you are running low on content to give to your writers then getting a content researching software would be a good idea, I won't mention anything in specifics in order not to breach the forum rules . But yes this is a good way to get endless content even if you are running out of key points to give to your writer to write. Remember, keywords is pretty key even until today.

    3. I prefer to write myself because I can churn out some neat articles that get 100% acceptance with EZA. Every single article is unique and not a repackaged one from MRR, PLR or whatever-Rs! I know this is hard to believe but its because I love writing about what I'm promoting.

Of course, I create my own products too and have gotten out of affiliate marketing now due to the greater rewards I'm getting - aka I get to keep my own customers.

God Bless and hope this helps,
    Vern

I write some and I outsource some. Eventually, it's a matter of doing what you like best. Some people like to do nothing then outsourcing is the way to go.

I admit it's hard to find good writers at a decent price and more importantly good attitude. Start your search here in the forum or marketplaces like rentacoder.com, guru.com. You just have to try them out and see who suits your style and needs.

I used to pay dirt cheap prices for my content and would have to spend literally hours editing, rewriting, etc...

But as time went on and my income grew larger (my patience, shorter), I decided to simply pay for quality and reap the long-term benefits.

And because of that, I've been programmed to associate price with quality.

I have always tried to write my own articles because I was mainly writing them on subjects that I knew intimately. Anyone should first attempt to write their own in order gain experience in this area; and to help them judge others if they subsequently decide to outsource this task.

      Exactly.

After fitness (which I've always been good at), I actually had to start researching before I started writing. It worked for a while, but eventually, I was spending too much time, which led me to outsourcing.

Ok, so who's the best writers to outsource to. That's the 10 dollar question here.

    I'll start:

    contentdivas.com
    and
    article-writer.team-schuman.com

    ...your turn.

I normally outsource site content but force myself to write my own articles for ezinearticles etc. I detest writing!

One tip if you're looking for a low price is to take a chance on new writers on the freelancing sites - they often find it hard to get a start in the industry and will often bid low.

However for this it's best to use a site like Rentacoder as they hold your money in escrow until satisfactory delivery. I find new writers although very cheap are less likely to deliver so it's best to be safe.

When I get a good reliable writer I then pay them well, including bonuses, but as has been said, after a while they disappear off to start their own IM empire.

its not the writing guys, i love writing.

its the submissions. I will NOT sign up on hundreds of article directories and then submit - that's the most tedious thing ever. I pay between $12 - $15 for article writing + submission to 5000+ article directories which i think is ok.

If it's OK, can you tell us what website or company you use? I ask this because I have seen tons of sites that offer submission of your article to thousands of "directories." It seems that you have a tried and tested and tested site that works.

Outsourcing is good if you have a good writer. If I have the money why not. Outsourcing can give you the much leverage to concentrate on promotion.
