    .

Hmmmm, apart from just the position and font, I think
other factors play a role here - such as whether the copy
is compelling enough to be clicked on, etc,

The best answer to this is test, test and test again until you find a sweet spot.

No one could possibly answer this question for you. You can and should test this yourself however just like an ad on Facebook, because a lot of the visitors to this forum are regular visitors, you will want to change things up all the time. Never just settle for the one signature. People will start to get blind to it and it will become less and less effective as time goes on.

I think your Signature link gets a lot of clicks, doesn't it?
      It really get my attention.

Your Red-Black graphic makes me stop reading posts and read the banner for a while...

To be perfectly honest I don't track the clicks on my signature so I couldn't tell you. Having said that red is a known stop color that always works well at drawing attention to something. That's why it is used for important things such as stop signs, traffic lights, and headlines. But as I said, the longer you use the same signature the quicker people get used to it and the less effective it becomes on the most part. I will usually try and change up my signature every month or so at the very least.

Clicks on your signature are only half the challenge though. You've also got to have something worthwhile on the other end of that click otherwise it's all a waste of time.

    Centered. Bold. No graphic.

I think "left" is good for one line signature. Anyway, words take a big importance than position.

I like the WillR's signature banner, as it is short, straight to the point and eye-catching!

It can depend on quite a few variables.

I think it's mostly about "Where it stands out most".

But I think there's also some advantage to changing its position, sometimes, where you post regularly and people are used to it. Just a change can make something "stand out".

It has the potential to do so - yes, very much so.

I always put in the middle, in bold. Didnt test anything tho but it seems to clearly stick out.
