Amazon + Pinterest

Hi Im new on pinterest marketing and read some articles that putting a direct amazon affiliate link on your pins will not work now.

My question is will it work if I put my amazon affiliate link in a blogpost and get the blogpost url then put it on my pin images? So basically when the user click on my images they will be directed to my blogpost which have my amazon affiliate buy button.

Will this work?

    ...or may be use a url shortening service that will redirect to Amazon. If they have blocked those too, then use "Redirection" plugin in your wordpress blog and create affiliate link redirects from there.

    Hi,

    Putting your links on an external page (blog...) and pinning pictures from there will work.
    If you want to send your visitors directly to an offer, avoid simple URL shortening services as I've noticed some of them are blocked by Pinterest. I'm using my own custom link shortening script, that way all links appear to go to my website even if the visitors are actually redirected after a couple of seconds..

    Yes it will absolutely work. I have tried this before. But the only problem is you would not want to mislead your buyers or something. And this strategy is less likely to work.

      I think its not misleading. When they click on the image the blogpost information is still related to the image that they clicked..
