In WV we have a town called "Big Ugly"

Kentucky has the funniest place names of anywhere I've ever been -- "Mud Lick", "Big Bone Lick", "Big Knob". Montana had a town called "Bloody Dick" and there's an "Onacock" in Virginia.

Yes, Sal, they have told me that. And I HAVE been to Hell and back! Didn't see Satan once while I was there. He must've been on vacation or something.

In deepest Lincolnshire there is a tiny river called the Ewe - Once a year, as opposed to every hundred for Brigadoon, a tiny hamlet named Farton springs to life. Its residents can be seen briefly dancing on the maypole, the jugglers juggle, and the minstrels sing merrily. The BBC tried to film it happening, but their camera's all failed to take a single shot.

At the end of the festivities the crowds gather on the riverside, and as the sun sets they all bare their bottoms and shout 'Fartonewe'
