I want to make a few web 2.0s in conjunction with my PBN links or maybe solely web 2.0s alone to rank some low comp sites.

I understand how to use them I just dont know what is the best site structure to make them with?

Should I make them like a PBN and all content as posts on homepage? Or should I make them as pages?

wordpress.com doesnt allow post changes to permalinks so posts look like www.mydomain.wordpess.com/022814/my-keyword/

I seen a guy on the WF hire section doing Web2 creation. The sites looked real good and I was going to try him out. Just can't find the link.

Each site is going to have it's own set of restrictions, but I wouldn't sweat too much about inurl: problems. How genuine the site looks would be the highest priority.

      Hi Alan,

I make two types of web 2.0's for Tier 1.

      Branded Web 2.0s

These are mainly for getting branded and URL anchor text in my anchor text profiles. What I'll do is use the super high DA sites like Wordpress, Webs, etc and create something like The Official ________ Wordpress Blog. Where _____ is the name of my branded money site.

I'll set it up with a static homepage, about, contact and blog. The blog will have short articles talking about promotions and announcements and what not.

I then throw some backlinks at these sites to crank up their juice. Pretty non-aggressive anchors as well.

This looks really natural in Google's eyes. Just about every major company has web 2.0 satellites.

      Monetizable Web 2.0s

These would be from platforms like Whizzely, Hubpages, Squidoo, etc. Their format is usually single page and topic based. I don't make these branded because of their ToS's prohibiting self-promotion. Instead I pick a closely related topic and throw in my link as if it were a reference to support the article.

In my experience, these climb PA faster and they rank faster. Not exactly sure why since they typically have less DA than the other types. Probably Google favors them because they're parsed and moderated.

      Hope this helps.

Hey so I take it you're using pages for your web 2.0s? Is there a reason why you choose this over posts?

I've got to echo Diggity SEO's branded approach.

Since I create a unique 'author' for each main/money blog, I create a unique gravatar. Well, since that comes with a wordpress.com account guess what? I make a wordpress.com blog to go with my main site.

And I even do it the same way he does as well.

    Humorously, they get some traffic.

Trick I use to make my web 2.0s stick.
      Use a custom made header.
