PPV vs PPC - Which One is Easier & More Lucrative?

This has likely been done to death, but for a newbie which one would you recommend?

I created a few PPV campaigns a few days ago, am in the process of testing about 5 landing pages for each, and haven't had any conversions yet (standard procedure for a newbie, I'm sure).

My very limited thoughts so far are that it's easy to burn money fast; higher paying offers likely won't convert as easily; making it quite hard to turn a profit; and getting your targets right and perfecting interruption marketing seems like a bit of a challenge.

I'm thinking of withdrawing the remainder of the $500 deposit I had to make and just focusing on PPC.

I would like to know what others who were new to the game and now have experience with both would recommend though?

Personally I typically prefer ppv as its normally more relaxed (think of all the rules and regulations around Google adwords)

I find it easier to create lp's for ppv as well

If you're just starting out, I'd try offers that pay between $3-5, that way you won't burn through an insane amount testing

    Non of them Easy!
In both of them you should test, mistake and optimize your ads to have a better ROI. I recommend you to get a PPC/PPV course to learn techniques and ways to optimize your ads.

    Good Luck

Both are Tough specially for novice. You must learn the technique first. For example If your are running FB PPC then you have to know how to optimize target audience. Otherwise you keep loosing both money and time. There are many quality classes available to learn PPC/PPV. I suggest try them first.

I still believe PPC is much more lucrative in the long-run as the traffic quality tends to be better, which means it's more reliable to build a business around it.

It's worth testing both and comparing the results. Be sure, however, to base it on confidence intervals and not click-through-rate. If you aren't sure what I mean by that, I recommend picking up a book on the basics of statistics. Learning it will greatly benefit your career.
