Display network vs Text Ad? Google.

I want to talk about averages. Barring this niche performs better then that niche talk. Averagetext CTR industry average is 1% Average DN CTR is .1%

Is this the same for conversion rates as well?

If I have a product that converts at 1% (1 sale out of 100) on the text network will it only convert at .1% on the DN?

  • 1% on a sales page is very low..

And 0.1% is also very low for CTR's

In my opinion, the conversion rate trumps the CTR. You don't want to find yourself in a situation where you are driving tons of clicks but they simply aren't converting. That's a recipe to find yourself in the poor house fast.

With a decent lead magnet or offer, you should be able to juice your conversion rate to 10%. I do have a contact who is a Behavioral Economist that has helped Fortune 1000s improve their conversion rate to 25% in select cases.

If you'd like a warm intro to this person, just PM me and I'd be happy to.
