Getting Started with CPA?

I'm looking into finding a CPA network for referrals to an online counselling agency.

Any ideas on where should I get started? I'd like to set up something where I pay per paying client, for example.

Just to clarify: I'm really a newb here. I'm in part looking to even understand how CPA works.

Register with any network as Advertiser in that case and they will be able to assist you further

It would probably be wise to learn a bit more about affiliate marketing and CPA before presenting your offer to a network. There are a few details you'll need to have nailed down that every rep will ask for up front. This includes the CPA rate (how much is paid out to the affiliate) How a conversion is made (determining when that rate is paid out) etc. That being said, if you think you're ready for a network to look at launching your campaign, you can apply to become an advertiser at MaxBounty.
