Banner creation is difficult

Hi guys, I'm interested in doing media buys.

I find banner creation to be really tedious. Do you typically outsource this process? Or create them all yourself with a software program?

    I create most myself, I'm by no means a photoshop expert, but I actually find the "ugly" and unprofessional ones often yield a higher ctr and give more profit

    I create my own. Most stats reports state about .001 would be a typical click thru rate for banners ad. Tat is one click per 1000 impressions. Mine on buysellads have a .002 to .003 so is just a little above average. Mine are placed top fold. Placement will impact the click thrus as well. I make my banner ads with illustrator, so I create the ad once and can resize as needed large or small without any distortion.. In Photoshop you can only size down (to a point) without distortion.

    Unless you're into fine art, Adobe Flash Pro is a way simpler and more intuitive program for designing vector graphics for banners and such.

    I outsource anything like that on Fiverr. There are some amazing designers who will create banners/headers etc. for $5.
