Ad placement, number of units, etc

Hey everyone,

So, I am confused. When I visit some sites, they have a header banner, and like 5-6 sidebar banners. All from adchoices (is that google?).

I know the Adsense rules of only having 3 units per page. However, I was also told whatever was formerly known as 'doubleclick' allowed you to get around that somehow. Is it worth mixing with another CPA network? Or, should I just stick with the traditional 3?

I feel like my websites have so much potential, but I am missing out and not earning nearly as much as I should be. It is discouraging to say the least.

Let me give some numbers and see what you guys think....

Daily stats - 10k sessions, 15k pageviews on average
Roughly 75% of traffic are bookmarked, returning visitors.
20k'ish twitter+20k'ish facebook followers
80k registered wordpress users.

Around how much daily revenue would you expect with those numbers?

    Hey Steve,

    I think you should do some branding to your site before you start selling advertising space.
    with 10k sessions you wont be able reach the numbers other sites do.
    you should contact with company that will bring traffic to your site based CPM and get you up at the rankings. then you sell the advertising space at your site and do arbitrage. simple
    you can connect to affiliate called AdventureFeeds. they are really good.

    You have got a good amount of traffic upon your sleeve.

    Start selling your ad spaces by your own they will be more profitable. And also promote affiliate products as you are saying you getting quite decent traffic with loyal visitors you can make ton of money out of them

      Any tips on how to do that without being spammy? I see some places just have a link 'shop at amazon through this link to support the site', but obviously there has to be much better ways on doing that.
