Quick suggestions on how to monetize my platform?

Hey everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone would care to offer a quick suggestion for what method might be best to monetize my platform (CPA, CPC, etc.)? I know this is a really objective question, so hopefully I don't seem to lame asking it. But it'd be nice to get some advice from some of the experts!

Background: I've got a website that allows users to ask and reply to health questions for free - I won't plug it here because I'm still new and I don't want to be 'that guy'. I just launched 2 weeks ago, I wrote the code (LAMP stack), and I tried to create it to be really SEO friendly - but I'm definitely no expert on the subject. My hope is that it will work as a platform to help people connect, generate good meaningful content, and get me started making some supplemental income (in that order). I've got a few ads running on the site (adsense) and I'm running a small adwords campaign (adwords).

Question: Can someone offer me some insight on how they would monetize this? I'm sure I could do much better than a few adsense blocks running on the site. Should I try to create adwords campaigns that target a particular discussion and run CPA ads on the side? Should I try to just concentrate on SEM and stay with my current setup?
