Blogspot or Wordpress?

Does it really make any difference which platform you use to build a blog for your CPA offers?

Any and all enlightenment is appreciated...

    It depends...

If you are talking about the free platforms, you need to be aware that WordPress and Blogspot could instantly delete your offers if they feel it is "spammy" or overly promotional.

It would be much better to go with Wordpress on your own domain.

  • WP is by far the best blogging platform out there and it is very easy to setup static sites (not blogs) in WP. The support for WP online is far superior as there are just way more themes, widgets, plugins, etc. available for WP than the other platforms.

As TheKeys mentioned, I would register my own domain... AND I, personally, avoid using the free hosting like wordpress.com and blogspot.com. I would recommend spending $5-10/month and get your own hosting. You'll thank me later. Hosting on free platforms becomes a pain. Can't use adsense on some... If you decide to move your site to a paid hosting later, they make it so you can't implement 301 redirects... the list goes on. If you're trying to make money online, spend the extra $5-10/month for your own hosting service so you can do whatever you want with your site.

The other thing, using free hosting like Blogspot puts you at the mercy of the site's admin. Have heard of a lot of people lately losing their blogs.

It seems this question is being asked over and over again. I use both but Wordpress wins hands down using your own domain name. The only reason I use blogger is for back links. There are so many people saying that their blogs have disappeared off blogger and they received no prior notification. Stick with Wordpress.

I agree that WordPress is the superior platform. The key to keeping any blog on the web is to have your own domain. Once you download WordPress (or set it up via your cpanel) you have no one but yourself to approve/disapprove what you put up on your site.

Use wordpress, Google likes it to bits and its IMO the best platfrom to work with.

Just make sure you get your own hosting along with it.
