Ways to monetize a website

Hello there!

I'm just getting started onto the IM World.
I would like to discuss which is the best way to monetize a website,
especially an adult related website.

    Although I am against adult types of sites I will help you out :p. Before I can answer anything what kind of site is it? Is it a video site, blog, etc? The type of site you own has a correlation with the type of monetization that is more effective. Blogs with information and tips generally monetize better with affiliate products while video sites generally do not do well with affiliates and are better suited for pay per click. If someone is on your site to watch a dirty video they are there to get it for free and generally will not bring out their credit cards to buy something adult related.

    Look up adultfriendfinder. I have heard that they have a really good advertising network that you could get hooked up with.

    Look up the demographics of your site then communicate with your account manager (assuming you got a smart one) and they can help you with correct offers for it.

    Use quantcast. Usually downloads / mobile is a surefire hit.
