JUST Article marketing for CPA?

Hellooo...

Again... I'm just looking for opinions here.

Is it effective to JUST focus on article marketing and direct linking to CPA offers?? I have Unique Article Wizard to leverage my article marketing efforts... I also have another aerticle syndiication network that puts my article on about 200 sites with each submission...

Is this the way forward for Consistent profits?

    The answer is no. Article marketing should be part of a bigger equation. Articles provide valuable backlinks that can be used to rank a domain so don't waste links direct linking to the offer page.

    What you should do instead is pick a fairly low competition keyword in your niche and try to get a domain ranked for it. SEO works, isn't that difficult and gives good results when combined with article marketing.

    I make a TON of money using article marketing and direct linking to my CPA offers...

    However, I wouldn't recommend utilizing "JUST" any one particular marketing method. Why not dabble in the many different ways that you can successfully market CPA offers?

      Shane..do you really make a ton of money on article marketing? I cant believe that considering its difficult to get traffic through articles..at least in my experience.

        Yes I do as a matter of fact! Check out this ONE article that has earned me over $2,000 in the past 3 months and is still earning till this day! (link below) That is just from ONE article mind you.

    Article marketing can be a powerful tactic when utilized with other methods. Like Phobos said I would use article marketing for backlinks as well as direct traffic.

    Pick a niche and build a site based around a main keyword - and then find some smaller keywords on that niche to write content about and fill the site up with quality content.

    Then focus all of your article marketing on that site. Picking various small keywords to rank the articles for and all powering the main site.

    This will give you a nice asset in your main site, plenty of links incoming to it as well as direct traffic from the article directories.

    I have experience with article marketing promoting Clickbank products and building email lists, not with CPA.

    Based on my experience, article marketing can be efficient if you do it with SEO purposes. Just submitting articles is not enough, you need to get some traffic from the search engines. If you can do it, then article marketing can make you some money.

      Hey Wayne,

      I have recently begun article marketing on a MASSIVE scale. Already, I have begun to see my traffic sky rocket. I have about 10 content blogs right now that I have created around several CPA offers (ranging from free trials, to short forms, and even some freebies). I have found that, if done properly, this strategy can be extremely powerful.

      Now, I'm not going to say that I'm some kind of SEO genius or anything, but I have a pretty decent understanding of how everything works. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I could see results like I already have from cranking up my article marketing efforts. There is no doubt in my mind, that you can be very successful with 90% article marketing and 10% other SEO techniques (videos, social media, reciprocal links, press releases, etc.).

      It all boils down to the quality of the site that you are sending the traffic to. I have found that making it seem like you aren't promoting ANYTHING is the best way to go about this. Just try and genuinely HELP people. This can be done by adding high quality content to your site, in particular, a free guide or report that will have a link to your offer within it. Just make sure that the free report isn't a piece of junk.

      Spend the money and outsource this to a high quality writer. I went though 12 writers before I found the one that I use for ALL my sites now. She researches the topic thoroughly, finds great facts and tips, and my visitors REALLY appreciate the content that I'm giving away for free.

      I don't blatantly promote ANYTHING on any of my blogs. Just tons of great content and free stuff. Then all I need to do is crank up the SEO (article marketing in particular) and watch the conversions come in! I know it sounds too simple and, really, too good to be true, but that's all there really is to it.

      Maybe you just need to go back to the start and rethink how you are laying out your sites. Try creating a few different sites with just great, helpful content and see how people respond to it! You seem to have all the knowledge necessary to really kill it with CPA, you may just need some minor refinement! Hope that helps though!

    When done correctly it can be very effective. it's one of the main methods I use.
    Once you make a little income you can start to outsource most of it.
    I have found it a lot less expensive to test new offers this way also.

      The link to the CPA offer in the resource box of your article doesn't work.

      Also, with article marketing, do you think direct linking is better than sending traffic to a landing page first (for zip/email submits)?

      You couldn't be any more wrong my friend. Article marketing has been working online since the mid 1990's (before you were born) and even longer than that with newspapers, magazines, etc.

      I myself make THOUSANDS of dollars a month from my articles (some SINGLE articles make me thousands every month) and so do many other Warriors...

      Although... If you want to steer clear of article marketing, be my guest! Less competition for me!

    Isn't article marketing outdated?

    (I'm just saying that because people love to call PPC techniques outdated left right and center).

    In reality though, it does work but is not for the impatient. If you don't go big with it you'll be waiting quite a while for your first sale. The problem is most give up to early, (like any technique or traffic source).
