GOAL:$200/Month with CPA from scratch...Pros, how would you tackle this?

Hey guys,
in the past few weeks I got into the whole CPA game. I saw threads here by people claiming to make $500, $1000 or even $2000 per day with CPA.

So this thread clearly addresses the 'big players' here...and should provide useful information to all beginners.

Imagine you'd start from scratch again, just got approved by a few CPA networks and now you're ready to rumble. Your goal would be to make $200 per MONTH, that is $6.67 per day as a humble start...So from your experience, what worked best for you and how would you tackle this?

What we'd like to specifically know is:
What kind of traffic generating methods do you use?
The cost factor: How much do we have to invest to set everything up?
How long will it take to start seeing results & to reach the goal?
Do you prefer to pick high paying offers?
Are there niches you prefer to target?
Do you align your cpa offers with current trends/events? Were you able to hit the bullseye with this method?(Short-term 'goldrush')
How long did it take for you to achieve your personal goal?

Of course we already know that the answers to those questions depend on the offers we choose to promote. We'd just like to see the different ways of people approching this and trying to comprehend the process.

Thanks

    Hey man,

Just a quick question first - do you currently make any money with affiliate marketing at all?

    Great.

The thing is with CPA - you CAN approach it in a very similar way to affiliate marketing. What makes it better IMO is that the visitor is doesn't have to buy anything for you to get paid in most cases.

for traffic I usually go the free route - getting my sites ranked, articles, videos, classifieds etc.

If you have some money to spend and would like to go the paid route, I would higly recommend checking out williamrs on this forum, or exploring the offline route.

Cost can vary hugely. It all depends on which methods you are looking at for you CPA campaigns. At the very least you are looking at a few bucks for hosting and a domain.

There is no magic bullet. You'll have to put in work to see results. There is no way anyone can answer how long it will take to see money - could be today, could be next week. all depends on how much time and effort you are will to put into your CPA efforts.

As for high paying v low paying - they both work well for me! The only thing with low paying is you better make sure you can get a lot of traffic to make it worth your while.

I hope this helps, not too sure if I left anything out there :-)
