Facebook Advertising. What type of traffic is it?

Hi warriors,
After joining ClickBooth, I am planning to get traffic using Facebook PPC.
My question is: what type of traffic is it considered?

Here is a list of types that confuse me:
Search - Media Buys - Contextual

So which one is right for Facebook PPC traffic?

    Out of just those 3? I would think Contextual just by process of elimination

      Contextual, despite what people think, is NOT just PPV Traffic.

    I would say most of the time it's classified as social media, but if your really not sure for a specific network it's probably best to reach out to your AM to be sure

    Ah, but you're wrong!

    It's also contextual. You can actually target contextual, based on CONTEXT and words that show up on the page, interests and so on.

    (ie, that's the definition of contextual)

    But for the definition of a CPA Network, it's SOCIAL

    You are ALL correct. I contacted my AM and he told me:
    -- Display / Onsite / Media Buys are kind of one in the same
    They all use the same affiliate link from the network
    So you can interchange between the two - its really the platform (whether on someone else's site (display) / on your own (onsite) / or on Facebook (media buys) --

    Facebook is a mix of PPC and Contextual, due to the fact that only some of the pages are the ads actually related to the topic on the page.

      I am testing various ads right now but still no success. I hope to convert traffic I am getting soon.
