I've done a flyer promotion on a college campus and it broke even for the most part, only getting me $15 profit for a lot more work than I had thought. It was a zip submit for a $500 Visa Gift card.

You do have to make sure the offer is allowed to be promoted offline and my flyer had to be approved. Contact your AM for that stuff

I dont know , I think this flyer business card thing is exaggerated
we normally promote where an ad pops and they are surfing, they click it submit an email addy, or complete a short survey boom, but they are ONLINE and our ad is THERE IN FRONT OF THEM

who is going to SAVE a flyer? or business card? run home go log onto the internet and log onto your site which they have to type the address in BY HAND?

    not me thats for sure

In my experience, offline promotion of CPA is worth it but you have to plan carefully. You have to calculate how many respondents are necessary to break even and the likelihood of gathering them.

Personally, I use postcards only when promoting offers over $10 per lead. Trust me, running around town for $1-2 per lead is waaaay more trouble than it seems.

The key is to pair the offer with a specific group because just handing the cards out to anyone is a waste of time. Also it helps to print a memorable url on the card like www.get-the-thing-you-want-most.com

For example, my first attempt with CPA was with a beauty/skin care product. I left the postcards in beauty parlors and gave my Avon lady a couple bucks to leave some with her clients. I calculated that I only needed 10 people to respond to break even and 32 people responded.

It can be done, you just need a plan.

sounds much more logical and planned and potentially successful than randomly passing out flyers to cars
