4 Hours In My First Paid Traffic Experience - How to Best Use Data
I've finally done it! My first paid traffic experience. Here is what I did:
- Got Domain
- Installed WP
- Outsourced the writing of 10 health articles to populate the site
- Wrote my own blog-style landing page for a CPA offer
- Note: It's legitimately useful, gives great tips, as well as CPA offer
- Used my free adwords coupon to get the ball rolling
- Used the advice from Chad's Traffic Black Book
- Bid on 600 Keywords with high price, Brute Force Method (to find the worthy KW's) (25 dollars a day, started at .80 cent bid, wasn't cutting it - jumped to 1.60 max CPC, ended up with average CPC=.78 cents)
- Using Search and Content Network
- Took 2 days for ads to get approved by Google
- Testing 2 Different Ads
- Grand total thus far: 7,000 impressions, 35 clicks - CTR .49%
Of those 20 clicks from landing page to CPA offer, I got 0 conversions.
Grand total Day 1:
- Spent: -25
- Revenue: 0
- Income: -25
Now: I'm going to continue to let it run for the rest of the week.
I'm not going to jump and change everything like crazy, because I think I need more data.
Just wanted to let everyone know, that IMO, the best way to learn CPA is to just f'ing get out there and do it.
Inch by inch, achieving your goals is a cinch!
