Email Marketing How to start?

Hello Warriors, I really don't know how to start in email marketing.
I have a plan (maybe bad) to send cpa offers to my email database, and i have some questions.
What software do i need to send good quality (html) emails to 5000+ people.
Is there are any better way to monetize this good quality (private) email list?
I am looking for some good tutorials, methods.
(I am totally beginner in email marketing, so please answer step by step)

    You can’t do much email marketing unless you have email addresses of people
    who want to hear from you and have given you permission to contact them via
    email.
    Building your own list of current customers, past customers, and prospects (versus buying names and addresses) is the best way to start an effective e-mail marketing list.

    Try to collect email address of those peoples who have interest on your products/niche and will give effort and time to open your mail. In time of link building, be careful regarding your target market. It will be helpful for you in long term. Getting a lot of mail address who does not even have any interest on your product will treat your mail as spam.
