Does anyone have any good alternatives to Adsense? I do use Adsense but I'd like to try some other ways to generate income from ads.

Adbrite is your best option. You can also check Chitika. Both are really good.

Cpa offers, adbrite, bidvertiser, chitika are all good and effective alternatives for adsense. Adsense is overrated.

definitely overrated - have you experimented with other forms of advertising?

I've asked this question myself lots of times... pretty much everyone is telling the same programs: Chitika, AdBrite... but those pay far less. AdSense still is the best site-placed PPC affiliate program...

But, mate I advise you to check these... that are not PPC, but slightly different:

Media.net - Yahoo is behind it, they are trying to launch an AdSense competitor program... might be worth trying
BuySellAds.com - sell ad space, such banners... if you have a strong site, it might pay even better than AdSense, because people are getting slightly immune to the typical PPC links appearing...

Adsense - you will get a good return than any other ad network, no other network can match wat you will make from adsense.

Still you can try Adbrite, smowtion and adhitz..

    InfoLinks - wouldn't approve me.

AdBrite - their ads are all over porn sites, I wouldn't want to be associated with them on a mainstream site.

Bidvertiser- junk. I actually wanted to advertise with them - they took 7 days to approve my first ad!

Chitika aren't bad if you have a product related site. I've made payout a couple of times from just my backlinking InfoBarrels.

Check my .sig for an in-depth look at how I replaced AdSense on my sites.

I am not trying to sound all negative, but there no one close that pays as much as AdSense. You do have a better luck with affiliate marketing, CPA, or use OIO Publisher and try to sell ads space urself.

if you got banned from big G using ur own name, it easy enough to open corp or LLC... and register all over again after learning ur mistakes and reading through adsense policies

Media.net could be an adsense alternative. From what I've seen so far my RPM is all over the place from $0.5 - $9. The medium RPM for me is $1.5 - $1.9

I've started using them a couple of months ago.

I'm wondering, is anyone else using Media.net? What are your RPM's? Do they compare with the Adsense? (for the moment I'm not seeing it, but I'm hopeful it will increase in couple of months)

I have tried adbride and chitika both. Honestly speaking, both of them pay only by 1/5 of the amount that adsense pays. I used to get paid $ 1 or more on every click on one of my sites but as for some reason I was trying these two networks and they pay ridiculously low. Some of the clicks were not even paid. Only pennies they pay. It doesn't even pay off your hosting fee. Recently, I'm trying some cpa offers but haven't been that successful either.

It depends a lot on the niche of your site. If it's a gaming or entertainment site you can often make a lot more running specialized CPM ad networks than you can from Adsense.

View your competitors' sites, see which ads are showing up in their Adsense blocks, find the marketing directors for those companies on LinkedIn, and message them about selling ad space on your website. A lot of them will take you up on the offer if you're in a niche that's profitable for them on display.

This is a good way to get around an Adsense ban, by the way

Still killing it with my alternatives to AdSense. I really wish I'd taken AdSense off my sites years ago!

Nobody with a niche site should really be using AdSense. If your traffic quality is good you'll make far more with other offers, and if your offers don't convert due to poor traffic, well you might get kicked out of AdSense anyway.

As montioned above, affiliate programs may bring you more income than programs similar to adsense. think that by placing ads someone is making money with your traffic and pays you only cents from what he is making. So why not go to the affiliate networks and pick up an affiliate program that would work for your traffic.

To be honest , You can not find good replacement of Adsense. People may recommend you Adbrite or chitika or others . but They are paying too low as like $0.001 . That is not really profitable.

You can try CPA offer , that should be a great replacement of Adsense if you have traffic.
We do provide CPA offer internatioally , If you have traffic , hit me up at my email alex@Cpavortex.com or skype cpavortex-support

There is a way of making significant income from banner ads. Google makes money because they have massive web space or "real estate". A company set out with the mission to provide a better than average income for the average person.

They approached advertising brokers who represented large amounts of internet space, and rented out large amounts of space. Then they offered affiliates such as you or me the opportunity to rent part of this space. The company acts as a broker between the large publishing sites and the advertisers and one can make ad revenue from this whether one has or does not have a website.

At the same time as revenue is being earned one also earns impressions that can be used for an advertising campaign.

This is not adsense but the original question of this post was if there are alternative ways to make revenue from ads.

Google makes their income because they command a large quantity of web space and put up banner ads to get revenue.

A company exists with the mission to create a better than average income for the average person. They procure large quantities of web space from websites which have significant traffic. From this one can rent portions of this space and earn revenue through banner ads. The company acts as a broker between publishing sites and advertisers. One need not have a website or be internet savvy.

At the same time one earns revenue, one gets impressions one can use for any ad campaign they desire.

This is a way to make revenue through banner ads other than adsense.

There is no good alternative to adsense, especially if you have a niche site. CPA offers will not work, unless you can find a good/related offer for each page.

Trowing general offers on the site is not sustainable on the long run and the other networks pay like up to 10 cents per click...

You should have provided more info - niche/traffic but a good way is to hire a cheap researcher and getting him to find people to advertise on your site. Rent a banner for $19/month.

I would start with people that are already paying for traffic (adwords advertisers) there are tools to show you how long where they there like - keywords elite.

      good luck
