Lifespan of your successful campaigns?

Hey CPA/PPC experts, I'm curious to know one thing...

When you finally work a campaign and get it profitable, I'm just curious the lifespan of your campaigns. What is the longest you've had? What do you think is a running average?

Thoughts?

My longest was 3 years.

It really depends on the traffic source and the offer to be honest.

Unique offers are harder to replace.

It depends a lot on the traffic source. How many new people see your ad every single day?

For instance with search traffic, new people see your offer every day and unless your competition rises, you can have a campaign that lasts for years.

For PPV, the potential of having campaigns that last very long is lower since their userbase is considerably lower than first and second tier search engines. With PPV, I've never had campaigns last longer than 3-4 months, but I'm def. not an expert. I'm sure there are marketers who have more success than I , but I doubt campaigns in PPV space remain profitable for years.
