Adcenter Quick Question.

I am about to start Adcenter learnt a lot of over the past 2 months or so now its time to execute, however I have a question which really needs to be answered by any one of you guys here, again I would really appreciate this.

I plan to promote CPA offers using Adcenter, direct-linking :p, might switch to landing pages later during the testing phase. So my question is :-

- The offer that I have chosen allows traffic only from a specific country or sometimes there are offers with 2-6 countries allowed. I know there is a targeting option on Adcenter however its not the best as it messes up with the stats, that what people say at-least...I cannot add a PHP geo-country redirect as I would mask my URL instead of redirecting it to the offer URL. How can I get my ads set up to deliver only to these allowed targeted countries, or in other words if I cant target em then what do I do with the additional junky traffic, cause i would not want my advertiser go wild saying your leads are worldwide which might incur a ban as we all know...

No, I would definitely target the countries. Otherwise, you're paying for traffic from countries that aren't accepted and won't even see your offer.

Are you using anything to track your campaigns (such as Prosper202)?

If not, you will just be blindly sending traffic to your offers without knowing which keywords or countries convert the best. In other words, wasting money.

Yes i would use Prosper202 to track keywords. Lets say I get some data 6 countries do well in conversion and a few keywords who are winners according to Prosper202, however the offer I am promoting to begin with has country limitations, as a result it can only be advertised to Germany. So if I keep pushing the other 5 countries which I am apparently not supposed to might result me in getting banned from the network I use the offer from.

      Hope this makes sense...

I may be misunderstanding you here, but are you saying that you can get conversions from countries that aren't accepted by an offer?

Offers only accept conversions from allowed countries. Traffic from other countries will either be geo-redirected to another offer or a blank page.

At the very least, I would target the 6 countries through the campaign settings in Bing Ads and exclude the other countries. There is no use in paying for traffic from countries that aren't accepted.

Now if you want to target by country in Bing Ads, one way to do that would be to create a campaign for each country. You can create a campaign for one country and then copy it for the others. Then simply go in to each campaign and edit the targeted country. So you would have 6 campaigns each targeting a different country. Then you would set this up in Prosper accordingly.

I know this involves more work, but you can also save a lot of money by targeting properly.

This will also allow you to create campaigns based on each countries' native language. You could also target the countries by grouping them up into their native languages. This would involve less work and fewer campaigns, but not target each country.

Let me put it the easiest way, if the offer has 6 countries allowed and if I get the data from Prosper stating these 6 countries are giving me conversions which are allowed by the network, hence I will keep the 6 countries and a few keywords which work good. Now the thing is since I am advertising on Adcenter which I haven't done before as I am a Facebook guy i am thinking about the additional traffic that my ad would receive from countries apart from the 6 allowed countries. I know that Geo-redirection is set up on the offer for those 6 counties so any other country's trying to access that offer would be redirected to another a third party offer, so i am basically paying for clicks which are not allowed by the offer, know what I mean hence I am wondering how can I save money to ensure I only target those 6 countries which are allowed by the advertiser?

You absolutely need to use the targeting in adcenter, I'm not sure how it would mess up stats
