A few quick & easy time-saver utilities -
This happens to me a lot with headers & banners, when building ad creative sets, 'chopping' or mixing-and-matching the image from one ad with different text or for different formats, etc. I need something 300 x 250 for instance, but what I want to use is from a 250 x 250 button... This happens to me with ads, post inserts, changes to sales pages, etc.
I'm a Photoshop guy from forever ago - in fact, before there even was an internet, I was in graphics and pre-press. These days I usually use Photoshop Elements because I don't often need the whole Photoshop environment. Plus I have nearly every good utility on the planet - and plenty that aren't so good...
Mostly it's just a pain in the butt, the inconvenience of having to stop, fire up a graphics app, find the resizing tools, do it, re-save it, then find it again in Explorer...
Same thing for text - the more-than-occassional need to make a sentence 'title case' (first letters capped), have a word count, etc.
It's all about saving some time and being more productive. It's late here, so I'll skip the rest of the entertaining stories I'd planned, and cut to the chase - here are some great little time-savers I find myself using on a regular basis, very simple & straightforward online utilities that help me maintain my workflow:
Resize Images Online at ResizePic- does just what it says.
Convert Images Online at ConvertPic - does just what it says.
Online text formatting - does just what it says.
