Can someone please give me more insight to CPA? I'm no CPA stands for cost per acquisition, and I know it means you only have to pay once an action is taken or a sale is made. However I don't know much more than that. how much do these campaigns cost, I imagine the price varies. What else can you tell me? What other resources can you point me to?

    CPA = Cost Per Action
    for example the action is entering email or Zip code, voting / surveys..
    So, once you get someone enter his/her email / zip-code, you will be paid.

    The amount you'll be paid is vary depends on the networks

      I am a newbie in Internet Marketing and still doing my research so I really don't have much idea on these terms... My questions are: 1. How do I get paid? 2. What is the average pay per type of action? 3. Do I have to sell products?Any information will be appreciated. Thank you!

    They go to CPA networks and agree of a cost per sale or lead.

    CPA is a subset of the affiliate marketing business model. Merchants craft specific offers with specific outcomes, and then take those offers to a CPA network. The network acts as broker, making the offers available to individual marketers, tracking the trafiic and results, and disbursing the payments.

    An "action" can be anything that the merchant specifies, from a simple visitor e-mail or zipcode submit all the way to a high-end sale. The affiliate takes on all the risk, cost and work of generating traffic, and the merchant pays only for traffic that performs the specified action.

    The CPA network sits in the middle and takes a cut.
