POF - dating ad declined.

Hi guys,

I have a couple of offers in the peerfly on the dating niche, then today i started my venture in POF since its supposed to be a good source of traffic for dating niche, but the ad was declined due to the following reason:

Prohibited Content: Adult related sites/products, 100% free dating site (incl Singlesnet), offers that charge for receiving text msgs (see advertising guidelines for more)

Then i thave read the TOS that says:

Advertising Restrictions

PlentyOfFish does not, under any circumstances, advertise the follow:
1) Free websites, such as OKCupid or Singlesnet.
2) Adult & affair websites, such as AdultFriendFinder, AshleyMadison and Benaughty.
3) Any ringtone or game mobile offers which requires a payment based on text messages received

So accordingly to the TOS i cannot promote any offer related to dating right?

You can advertise dating on there, but options are a little limited. They won't let you advertise any client that is already advertising through them directly. They also won't let you use creatives that are as racy as their own internal ad sales for clients. There are some paid dating sites, particularly niche dating sites, that you can advertise through them.

You can advertise dating offers on POF. Just not your offer.

Try another offer.

To summarize....

1) We want don't any free dating sites that are competition.
2) No adult or overtly sexual dating offers.
3) No mobile dating offers.

What company is your dating offer?

Your offer may have been deem to risque. You may want to change the offer or if you are using a landing page, change the images to more appropiate ones.

  Greedy, that is not true, PoF allow DM campaigns, they just may be difficult to get approved depending on the images used.

Email them and ask.

When you are logged in, you'll see your AM's details in the top right corner (likely Ben or Cindy). Both are very helpful and will be happy to explain exactly why your ad was declined, rather than you guessing.

Unless things have changed in the last couple of months, there is nothing wrong with running 'Dream Marriage' (I've run it myself). Having said that, you may have picked a rego page that was considered to risque for POF, even though the offer is OK to run.

  I've used to do a lot of traffic to Dream Marriage on PoF and heard lots of other people did too. You might want to double check with your PoF manager as these new rules sound too crazy to be true. :confused:

If you're still having problems getting offers approved, track down POFBen and just ask him to clarify your offers and images used, this should put you in the right direction
