With all the recent changes to plenty of fish I'm wondering is it still as profitable as it used to be? Also has the traffic over the age of 40 male or female ever been profitable for you?

    Opp,

    This site can still be very profitable you just need to make sure that you send out very targeted ads that way you won't waste your ad budget. This is like everything else the more targeted your ads are the better your results. Your CTR will increase which will also increase your conversion rates.

    As others say, POF can still be profitable. Sure the first few days were lower ROI because i needed to adjust a few things, but i'm pretty much back to the same numbers i was post-change. So don't worry and just dive in!

    Is POF a good place to start for a total newbie? I thought I could start with mobile marketing, but I find the basic requirements overwhelming (set up my "agency site", LinkedIn profile, get a VPS server, tracking software, call up traffic reps, etc.). I just want to get into this business step-by-step, without spending $1000's, just to get a feel for it.

    Anyone here making at least $250 USD/day consistently with POF? I'm running another business that is bringing me at least that much (apps), but I want to diversify.

      POF is a good place to start because it's so cheap and the ad setup process is very simple.

      I'd recommend only promoting free dating offers / lead generation offers. Monitor your competition and mimic what they do, especially if you see them running the same ad over a week because they must be doing something right.

      Thanks. What are your thoughts, can POF be mastered just by learning from the web and POF's manual, or should I join a forum like Stack That Money (they have a Spy Tool and are talk about strategies quite a bit)?
