Ad networks for travel website

Hi Guys

I'm new to this forum so apologies if i posted this in the wrong place. I started a travel website Price Doddle – Cheap Flights, Cheap Hotels, Cheap Car Hire, Long Term Car Hire a couple of months ago but can't seem to find an effective marketing channel to boost traffic to my site. I have done some seo on the site but that takes about 3-6 months to see any results.

I have also done some experimenting with promoted tweets but I spent thousands of pounds and only got less than a £100 in sales so my ROI was less than 0.16% which just doesn't work for me financially.
I have also tried adwords and bing but the keywords are just too expensive to be viable.
Tried buying traffic from sites likes revisitors but the quality of the traffic is so poor I didn't even make any sales

My question is are there any ad networks or cpc networks that work very well for a travel website like mine which aren't too expensive at the same time.

Thanks
