Adbeat versus Whatrunswhere

Have any of you ever tried either AdBeat or WhatRunsWhere to give an honest opinion of the differences and/or benefits/cons of one versus the other?

    I took the free trial of both. I wasn't trying them for media buy intelligence per se, I was actually using them to build target lists for PPV campaigns.

    Overall, I would say that I got better data from Adbeat. When I searched by keyword it would give me dozens of advertisers, their ads ads and their landers, what networks they were running on. WRW only gave me similar info, but with only 1 or 2 results per search.

    I'm not saying definitively that Adbeat is better, based on my limited experience doing the free trials. For my purposes, however, the data from Adbeat was much more useful.

    Probably the best way for you to know which one is better for your needs is to sign up for the free trials yourself. In both cases, canceling was straightforward and hassle free.

      Thanks for the input! I don't see a free trial for Adbeat however, but they do have a 30 day refund policy (and they're more affordable than WRW). Marjorie

        it's actually a $1 for 14 days trial of their Professional Plan ($199 per month)

        the catch is, if you forget to Cancel by end of 14 days, your credit card will be charged $199 per month on a recurring basis

          I know its from last year but this link is not functional anymore. Anyone knows if adbeat offers a free trial?

    To put it simply: we have more data and our data is more accurate.

    WhatRunsWhere covers more mobile and display networks than Adbeat. Also, our data is more accurate since we work on a one-impression-one-collection basis. As a result we have the most accurate data, because we show only what a real user sees

    On top of all this, we have in-app advertising intelligence. Adbeat only covers mobile web.
