    I'm not really sure what you're asking..

    An example of the equal signs is a query.. Like for google (google.ca/#q=test)

    These are variations.

    * will be replaced by any characters in the target
    // is general double slash after http:
    = usually followed by the keyword or phases represents the query string.

    These symbol can be used by the visitors when they browse the website. The popup will be shown when your target matches what visitors access.

    I see targets like this all the time in PPV campaigns. But I always wonder.. when adding keywords they tell you not to add http or www ..... adding these won't do anything will it?
