Facebook account temporarily suspended

Hi everyone,

Yesterday i tried to start my first facebook ads campaign and facebook suspended my account.

These are the steps i made:

1- New facebook account, just with my name and without any friends (not the real one i have for friends)
2- Cloaked with prosper202 with a LP and a redirect.php file
3- Ad has been accepted by facebook
4- Paid with paypal account
5- A few minutes later, the account has been suspended and they asked me for my ID

What do you think about guys? How do you do to promote your offers on facebook ads? Did anybody have that kind of problems? Do i need another cloacker or it's ok with prosper202?

I can try with my real account because i don't really care about being suspended, but i prefer to ask here first.

I know i am not smarter than facebook and i will never be...

Thank you for your help

  • Don't worry, that happens rather often. When you log into the suspended account, in the red box that says your account is suspended, there is a link that leads to a page where they require you to enter some information and upload your ID card. Just go there and answer the questions with as many details as you can, then upload your ID card.

P.S. If you're worried that they will store the image of your ID card - they won't, they will delete it from their servers as soon as they reopen your account.

    • Thank you. I have done it. Do you know how long it takes to have my account back?
    • lol, do you really believe they will delete it just because they say so? i dont!

i also was in the same situation, i did everything honestly and when i added my paypal account they shut down my account asking for ID.
i will never give them my id or any personal details, i dont beilive them and this step is one more trick to hurt the privacy of people online.

so i took my money and advertized on another network.

  • In my experience, it takes 1-3 days.

  • I believe it happens when you enter a paypal as payment method.

    • Maybe is that, because i tried the process twice and the second one i tried to pay with my first paypal account and facebook told me that paypal account was blocked.

Which account do you use for facebook ads? Personal or you create a new one?

      Thanks

    • Does FB only do the drivers license thing for those using Paypal? Or have they done this against those using credit cards for payment?

  • Just curious if you're account has been fixed yet?

    • Not yet. I send my ID on monday evening and i still waiting. trustar14 told me it takes one week to have mi account back.

But regarding your post about facebook and daiting campaigns for affiliates, i have seen a lot of daiting campaigns on facebook this week, at least in Spain. Of course, those campaigns are from affiliates not from original advertisers.

Anyway, i am looking for other traffic source. Any advise?

  • I believe they are going to suspend all adult campaigns
  • They mass sweeped lots of accounts promoting Dating Offers. But pros still onboard!
  • You'll never get your FB account back unfortunately.

They "suspended" (which is their word for "permanent") my 5 year account 3 months ago. I've sent ID 7 times now and every time I get back the copy paste "there's nothing we can do" message. The people that work for Facebook are idiots. I have boycotted the site and I recommend others boycott it too.

And if I'm ever in the same room as Mark Zuckerberg I'm going to punch his very punchable face.
  • I wouldn't submit anything dating related to facebook right now, unless you have a solid cloaker ( not prosper ! ), they're on the lookout for anyone that crosses that line and they will suspend your account with no option to get it back !

You can try other niches though, at least for a while until you build up some history for the account or try to get yourself whitelisted by some dating advertiser.

If you don't have a supply of accounts and you wanna keep the one you have, keep it clean, otherwise sooner or later they'll catch up on you!

    • Do they typically suspend accounts due to the offer or is it due to you using paypal?

  • There are too many filters that FB uses to prevent frauds. You are is good as gone. Find some other way to make a new account. No need to waste more time on this one.
