I would make a squeeze page with a headline that would say something such as:

"See How You Can Get An "Instant $25 OFF" On Sports Gear"

Then include an opt in form to capture your prospects email address before redirecting them to your store.

You obviously don't have to use that headline word for word, but the idea is capture attention quickly and create curiosity.

As with most PPV traffic, you got about 3 seconds to capture someone's attention before they close out the page. I would not include "orders over $250" in the headline because as soon as most people see "orders over $250" without yet being sold on anything, they'll click off the page in a heartbeat. You can include that info on a backend page after capturing info

Even if you don't have an email autoresponder or a way to capture prospect's email yet, I would still structure the page like a squeeze page. It should bring your visitor's attention to a single point that will quickly grasp their attention, and compel them to check out what it is that you are offering exactly.

    Does that make sense?

Seems your site is a Wordpress site, so there's plenty of plugins out there that will let you create squeeze pages. And definitely get an email autoresponder and make an effort to capture every visitor that lands on your site.

A test will tell the whole story, but I doubt it will do well. There's too much going on on the page and no prominent call to action.

I would remove the blog layout, and make an simple page with an image (something bit more eye catching then what you have) along with your title. Then make all clickable, after you have done that, post it again, and we'll share some more feedback.

Would this work? Err probably, but I would say your conversion rate will be abysmally poor!
