POF - Male vs female leads to dating offers, I need help

Hi Warriors,

I'm trying to succeed on POF, but since I don't have much money, it's difficult for me to test all, so I need help from experienced people.

Wherever I look here on WF, people who share advice about earning money on POF talk only about promoting to males. On the other side, I learned that it's females who bring sales to the advertiser, rarely males. Since you can get blacklisted by the advertiser for sending bad leads, I concluded that sending only male leads can get you into trouble. Is this true? Have anyone got blacklisted for sending male leads only? If yes, are there advertisers that don't do this, because when I look at landing pages of Mate1, for example, I see that they are mostly optimized for males?

The other thing I wanted to ask is about female leads (POF, dating offers). Can you make money by promoting to females? I tried, but since I don't have much money, I wasn't testing as much as I would like. My conclusion was that images of happy couples convert best. The problem is these images don't have too high CTRs. Images with only one man on them have better CTRs, but they convert worse. Am I missing something here? What images are best for promoting to females, with high CTR and CR? Also, is age important here? Those conclusions of mine are drawn from tests on women aged 40+. I once tried to test on women aged 30-40, put images of happy couples and images with one man on them (men with muscles, selfies shot in a mirror). I didn't test much, but images of happy couples had greater CTR. Am I missing something here? What kind of images for females?
