Way #1: Write Short How to Guides
A short how to guide teaches the reader how to solve a specific problem. To find topics that people are looking for use either the free Google Keyword Tool and type in "How to" with broad search or simply start typing How to into the Amazon search bar as the auto suggest function will provide you with common search terms. A how to guide does not need to be long but it must solve the problem that your customer wants to solve. How to guides are ever green books which can keep bringing you sales years into the future.
Way #2 Write Serialized Fiction
Serialized fiction is a fictional work presented in an episodic fashion. Each book in the series is usually between 15 - 20,000 words. The great thing about creating a fiction series is that it gives you the opportunity to maximize your sales and you don't have to produce all of the content at once. By dripping one book out every couple of weeks producing the content becomes manageable. Once you have finished the series you can offer the compiled work at a higher price point.
Way #3 Write a Non Fiction Series
Creating a non fiction series involves writing a number of books on the same non fiction topic. So for example if your niche was Yoga you might write books on Yoga for Moms, Yoga for Teenagers, and Yoga for Baby Boomers. By having a series you can brand yourself as an expert on this topic and cross sell your books. This is great way of maximizing your sales while minimizing your research time as much of the content between the books will be similar.
