How to get backlink for new site with fresh ways?

I just launched a site, I've optimized the on page and picked the local keywords. It's been 4 more months and I've done many link building strategies (e.g. directories, citation, blog commenting, pdf sharing, social bookmark, even web 2.0) but it doesn't give any result yet.
Is there any new strategy to get backlink?
Your answer is really appreciated.

      Hey, your trick is well to get backlink from forum, but It is good that u should build links from your niche site only. Leaving your foot print and getting backlink from non-relevant forum leads to site in danger.

    I suggest the best way is create back links white hat, never go black hat as this is gonna hurt your site in the long run

    Hi, @Sarah. Aside from the methods mentioned above, you can also mention an influencer on your content. With that, the influencer might share your post to his followers and you can get a backlink and promotion as well. Always remember to choose an influencer who is relevant to your niche.
