Newbie Dropshipper Alert! Question about Aliexpress Vendor Ratings

Hey guys,

I've just started my education for drop-shipping, and I'm incredibly excited for this new venture.

I do have a question though.

Essentially I've been going through a course which helps me get my business off the ground. I came across a training that I should work with vendors based on a feedback score of diamond or crown, or between 2000 - 20000 points. My issue is that I cannot find these kinds of icons, or feedback score on any vendor that I've come across. How do you guys figure out feedback scores/ratings from vendor to use as a measure to do business with?

Many thanks,

Mike

The tutorial probably is concentrated on a certain platform that isn't used by the vendors you're coming across with. You can try searching for the vendors on Google and see if you can find those ratings in their other online accounts. -Micah

I would definitely follow the Facebook ratings as well as rating on Aliexpress itself. While some vendors can offer extremely low prices, the quality can be poor beyond words. In the long run you would rather pay the extra $0.50 per product than get jipped on quality and have no returning customers.

A couple things that I look at while looking for a reliable Aliexpress vendor is the amount of orders they have, how long they have been around, and their positive feedback score. It tells me everything that I need to know about the vendor. If they have a ton of orders coming in and they have been around for a long time, they're more than likely pretty reliable. You can also try to get in touch with the vendors and ask them more questions. A lot of them have a WhatsApp number. Another thing I would check out is if they ship from China or the United States. Depending on the product, they may have a warehouse in the US and they can ship from there. The only thing about that is you want to make sure they already have a lot in stock in the US. If you start doing a lot of volume and the warehouse runs out of that product, it could take months for them to stock up on inventory. If you see that they only ship from China, always ship with ePacket. It is guaranteed to be delivered to the customer 12-20 days after shipping.
