What do you sell? Hopefully you have some idea of who buys your product. If not, you may already be in trouble.

Who does your product help? Who buys similar products from your competitors?

Then you find out where they hang out at online such as forums or Facebook. What do they read?

You then go to those places and contribute or buy ads.

What email lists do subscribe to? Maybe you can do a joint venture or affiliate sales or buy solo ads.

Without a target audience, you don't have a business.

Well, question is not whether it is for small business or a large business house. Your target audience can be categorized only by your niche. So, mention your niche to get the right feed back...

    • I have been in a close situation to yours. Have been working with transportation for a year now. We started by e-mailing related companies. That gave us somewhat of a success. Later on, we have switched to paid services. OxyLeads and Hoovers gave us great results in approaching possible affiliate partners, resellers, advertisers. Might be an option in your case too.

For fast results, you can begin to run an Adwords Campaign.

For longterm term results and, as a much cheaper solution to get traffic and leads on the long run, I highly recommend you to consider a good SEO campaign.

A proper SEO campaign will rank your page on the first positions on Google for your niche specific Keywords, which will give you online visibility and ultimately provide a strem of new leads, calls and customers to your business.

      Hope you all the best,

  • So you are in B2B space, Email marketing is the best way to market your product because your customers are business decision makers and owners they won't hang out in social media or any other place in online so email marketing is the best way.

I'm not sure as what niche does this belong to, but you should target the operators for this one. Try running an ad on FB just to test it out.

You might consider running an ad in a trade magazine.

Do you have a website where they can see a video of how it works?

A mailout might even be helpful for this type of product. Something that explains how the product will help them and then directs them to your website.

I'm a big fan Megha of publishing helpful content through:

    - my blog
    - Facebook Live videos
    - podcasts
    - guest posts

to grow my blogging audience and customer base.

Then to expand my reach I network with bloggers through:

    - genuine blog commenting
    - promoting them on social media
    - promoting them on my blog

Creating helpful content and building friendships help me connect with customers, because I show off what I know and my blogging buddies expand my reach.

You are going to want to use LinkedIn Ads then market to taxi, limousine, delivery, companies. You can also use PPC Google Adwords and Bing Ads.
