  • You can keep working on the site, just remember to keep the momentum as search engines like to see updates and interactions on website.

Posting consistently is important. That's the whole idea of having a blog compared to a static website. Pick a posting schedule and stick with it, even if you just post once a week. You can even outsource the writing if necessary.

It's not really a big problem in SEO. Nothing violates Google's TOS.

It will not have any effect on SEO, unless the things that you are writing about are time crucial (i.e. the stock market, political news, sports scores, etc.).

(I'm warning you right now, if anyone on this forum tells you that the frequency with which you publish things affects your site's SEO, STOP following ANY advice that person gives you on this forum; they are merely parroting the same false information other clueless people have told them and are likely to be wrong on many/most of the other SEO advice they give.)

What it may very well affect is the traffic to your blog. If readers get used to daily content and suddenly content is not published daily, they may stop following the blog. Keep it consistent.

And, of course, the more often you publish, the more often there is new content that can be crawled and indexed for different search phrases. It's not a frequency thing that helps SEO in that case; though, it is a content thing.

What do you mean by this?

How old is the blog and how much content?

Do you mean you haven't posted in a month?

If you have not posted in a month it may affect your SEO-search deal negatively. But your blog posts are only 1 factor. You also need reputable links in. Build bonds with fellow bloggers in your niche by helping them and asking for nothing. This leads to features and guest post invites.

Micro-business owners are working an average of 52 hours a week, 63 per cent longer than the average worker, according to research by call handling firm Penelope. These are practical experiences of entrepreneurs ((redditors)) who are working long hours. You don't have to put in 60 or 70 hours a week.

It's not a big deal mate. You don't need to think too much about it. But in my point of view, it's better to put your all efforts on 1 site to make it successful and get your ROI back. But as you know, different peoples think differently. I have just shared my thoughts. Cheers!
