I just launched an affiliate marketing site that sells services and I've really pressed SEO because I know in the long run it will do better for me. Any advice? Thanks

Yes, SEO can get good results in the long-term, if you do it really well.

For SEO, the #1 most important thing is very high quality content. Without that, nothing else you do will get good results.

So make sure your content is REALLY good.

Do other on-page SEO, such as good internal linking, HTTPS, image Alt Tags etc.

For off-page SEO, ONLY create back-links from sites which are DA 20+ and related content to yours.

And make sure you are building an email list from your site, as that's a much more effective long-term strategy than trying for instant sales the first time someone visits your site.

    Hope that helps !

    Chris

    Hi Cade,

Yes, SEO is a long term process and it will give you more advantages after some time because it's an organic process and in which you paying only according to a fixed price.

One thing that I like to suggest is that SEO it's important but keep in mind that search engines can change their algorithm and you can lose your rank overnight. Therefore it's important to focus on factors such as getting links that not only help you rank but actually bring you traffic.

For example, if you have a guest post on a high traffic relevant site, that link will not only help you rank but will also bring you targeted traffic from that website. That in itself is more valuable than search engine traffic.
