i need to work on a CPA network. I did all the SEO research. But now i think that msot revenue will be earned by those who effectively advertise the product. So i need to ask that is it possible to pick some product that is low in competition and i can sell that product by ranking a blog?

There is no low competition today. However, there are TONS of ways to get free traffic from social networks - just have to work it! Reddit, Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Daily Motion, Vimeo, Niche Forums, Pin Sites... got the picture?

That will also help your SEO... by a lot and in a good way, without buying links and shady tactics.

As for "product" - go with the one that you actually either use yourself or like or use for hobby - I mean, at least this way it will also be fun AND you will have tons of unique fresh content to boot - just take pictures, phone cameras today are amazing!

Patricia, if you, for example, like cooking something that good - start a cooking blog, gather email, upsell Amazon products that work and that you use. Post your end results and recipes on social networks. Business model that will make you money in 30 days. When you have enough content for a good E-book - publish it on Amazon and send out to people who gave you their e-mail addresses. Apply this method to what you're good at and it will be tons of fun doing this. Money will follow When you get bored - make all that into a secret method how to make money and start teaching others It's really that simple

    Hope it helps!

It's possible to start a blog to promote that product and rank through using SEO tactics, but it's very slow compared to paid traffic, but it's totally possible.

You can continue to do SEO research but SEO is going to take some time. Your blog won't rank right away and you would need to target low competition keywords in a low competition niche, while still building backlinks.

You can pay for ads if you want to start promoting your products immediately.

Its not that what you are selling has to much competition. Its the terms you are targeting that do. I have a different approach to SEO than most. It is common to identify terms with a great amount of traffic. greater traffic equals more sales they say... THAT is really not a true statement. Greater traffic equals just that, greater traffic, and more often than not does not lead to greater sales.

With keywords that have the historic ability to generate greater traffic in general means there is more competition for the term. More competition at the term level is something I suggest avoiding. Targeting terms That have 1000+ visits per month require backlinks and Domain Authority and pretty decent on page SEO. As a new site 2 of the 3 are kind of out of the question. ( Backlinks and Domain Authority )

You need to be looking for long tail buyer terms in the space you are working that get like 0 to 50 visits per month. Create content targeting those terms and you may start to see some sales

In order to do this you really have to understand what it is you are selling and HOW people may search this when they are ready to buy. "Discount <insert term here>" is not what I am referring to...

Lets find an example... lets say the core word "Credit Card" if you search this on Google you see there are 2,850,000,000 related pages. Getting a top 10 listing here would have the ability to sky rocket your traffic flow... but the traffic would probably not convert well to your offer.. and the SEO to get there is beyond the scope of a new site.

So we will assume you have an offer for credit cards with bad credit so a term like "credit cards to build credit" has 77,000,000 related pages. "credit cards for people with bad credit" has 517,000,000 related pages. "credit cards for people with a credit score under 500" has 298,000,000 related pages "credit cards for people with a credit score under 400" has 235,000,000 related pages. The number is coming down but still not within the ability of a new site.

So lets change up a bit... "unsecured credit cards for bad credit" has 4,170,000 related searches and is still to high. Lets go with: "unsecured credit cards for 500 credit score" has 632,000 search results. "unsecured credit cards for 400 credit score" has 542,000 related pages.

We can also look at "guaranteed approval unsecured second chance credit cards no deposit" with 778,000 related pages, or we can start getting more specific and try "unsecured credit cards for 500 credit score in Canada" with 553,000 results.

The first set of terms The traffic is obviously there but the SEO competition is out of your league. you would simply be betting on a dead horse. The terms with far less related pages starts to get you into a set of terms that you might actually have the ability to rank for.

The way I look at things... any amount of traffic is better than NO traffic. and because the lower competition terms are generally more refined and targeting a specific, the chances of conversion actually go up. I say... less traffic terms create less traffic but more money.

I personally will target a term that gets 10 visits per month ( per Adwords ) and find regularly the numbers are under estimated and I have a tendency of converting a good amount of my traffic that does come to me.

I have seen some terms that I can convert 80% of the traffic that comes through in a months time... might only be 10 to 20 people - but that's 8 to 16 more conversions those terms are making than the 0 conversions you are making trying to target the high traffic terms.

    Hope that Helps!

Also since you say you got your product from the CPA network be very carefull with that matter entirely cause it's may not worth the trouble with free traffic since the offer may dissappear any given moments on that topic there absolutely.

I am not sure if you should start your CPA marketing business using blog and trying to rank it before you start making conversions, it's too hard for newbies and it takes a long time and a lot of money to finally rank a blog and start receiving traffic.

Why not start with free traffic sources?
You can try facebook, youtube, instagram, pinterest, reddit.

Do not expect instant results, be prepared to work hard, to fail a lot of time, to test different traffic sources, different landing pages, different offers, do not give up when you face issues, keep working and one day you will succeed.
