Payment providers don't reply

I've contacted a few payment providers in order for my website to be able to process credit card transactions. However I'm on my 4th payment provider and they just stop replying to my emails.

I'm a new business and I haven't started trading at all, so I can't have a bad credit rating. Because if I haven't done any trading I couldn't have done anything wrong.

I don't know how I can double check my credit rating but it doesn't make any sense that if I haven't done any trading why would I have a bad credit rating?

Would there be another reason why these payment providers just stop answering emails?

(Note: I'm in the EU and only dealing with EU based companies.)

Is it possible they know, even without further communication with you, that your website wouldn't qualify? Is your site content in compliance with their rules?

As far as credit ratings, for new businesses in the USA, many times the banks look at the personal credit rating of the owner. Could that be the problem?

Could their replies be stuck in your spam folder?

Is there another way to contact them such as phone or snail mail?

I have never had a bad debit of any kind ever.

I have read and followed every rule and every bit of guidance.

      My spam folder is empty.

As for phoning them, if they don't want to contact me then a phone call will just get a corporate type of answer that just gets rid of me.

If you're doing business with someone (and they would make money on all the fees) then it's not going to be that impossible to write an email. No email is a message in itself.

I am not sure why they aren't answering but here is my suggestion .

    1 Apply for merchant account

2 use apple pay or pay pal in the meantime

3 If you are relatively new it's going to be harder for people to trust you to pay directly vs using an established known payment system

As this has happened multiple times, something is wrong on your end. You are assuming 'credit' but it could be 'no credit' - 'no history' - have any of the payment providers listed 'credit' as a reason for denying you?

Your post is a bit unclear. Have you applied for merchant accounts and been turned down? Or have you been sending questions and providers stopped answering?

Do you have a business ready to go or operational? Or are you asking hypothetical questions that may exceed the support they offer to non-members?

As for phoning them, if they don't want to contact me then a phone call will just get a corporate type of answer that just gets rid of me.

That sounds like what my Mother would have called 'getting on your high horse'. You assume what person will answer the phone....you feel they OWE you an email/message. Doesn't work that way. You are not 'doing business' with them at this time - you are asking them to accept you as a business.

Are these providers saying 'no' or simply not answering? If 'not answering' how many and what type questions are you sending to them?
Don't take it personally - let's dig in and sort it out.

I understand it's frustrating - but if you want to sell something you have to have a payment processor. Do you need a merchant acct or can you use Paypal or similar processor at least to get started?

Seems to me if you take the time to ask a question....good idea to log in again to see the answers....amazing how often that does not happen.

This is the same as anything else in this industry, whether it is finding quality suppliers, establishing business relationships, applying for credit.

You'll never get anywhere in this business (or most others) hiding behind your computer. You want answers and want them fast? The only way is with a phone call.

Get on the phone! That is what grownups do.

I hope this issue has been resolved but these sorts
of industries/corporations have no reason to reach
out to potential clients, when they have a gazillion
users already and adding hundreds more each day.
It's akin to hoping the airlines will call to sell you a
    plane ticket.

You might be assigned an account executive once
you reach a certain level of sales, say a million
dollars per year, but other than that you aren't
going to get any personal attention from them.
