I have a couple YouTube Channels for posting but I also have one just for leaving Comments 
You never know how crazy someone is online and everyone will begin to reverse engineer everything about that profile name.
But the thing is sometimes I score some pretty clever, witty, and what I think are totally original Profile names worthy of being branded around.
So just now it hit me a YouTube Channel I created just for commenting was pretty damn sweet haha and I should secure the domain for it and it came up taken!
Now your first reaction is that someone copied you but when I did a WhoIs check on it I see someone came up with it years ago. Which actually made me feel much better! Even when they are not doing anything much with it.
But my point in this message is secure all your cool profile names as domains. Even if you do not build on it someone else may want to and you can cash in with it. Just keep it in mind.
