Back to the beginning.

I've not done any marketing on the net for about 10 years so I'll have to start from the beginning too much has changed.

I had a paid version of Market Samurai they seem to be gone what happened? Does scrapebox still exist is it useful, not that I would be able to recover my login.

What should I read first?
What should I use for keyword research?

I want to use some AI generated content but I want to clean it up so Search Engines dont know its from an AI, what should I use?

I know Google are not supposed to be penalising AI content but they probably will soon enough.

Thanks All. aamcle

Start with forum searches for keywords/items you want to know about. perhaps check out the "Warrior Path" below and others in that "warrior Path" section.

    https://www.warriorforum.com/warrior...m-nothing.html

The internet doesn't sit quietly waiting for you to return - tools you used 10-12 years ago are probably not relevant now. It may save time to just start over.

There is also an "Artificial Intelligence" section here - you can find it in the dropdown menu by holding your cursor over 'forums' in the black toolbar above.

    Hi aamcle,

It's understandable that you feel like you have to start from the beginning after being away from marketing for 10 years. A lot has changed, but with the right resources and strategies, you can catch up quickly.
Regarding Market Samurai, their website seems to be up and running. However, it's always good to explore different options and see what tools are currently available in the market. You can consider using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz for keyword research.

As for AI-generated content, it's important to note that search engines are getting better at detecting it. Instead of trying to hide that your content is AI-generated, focus on making sure that it's high-quality and provides value to your audience. You can also consider using tools like Grammarly or Hemingway Editor to help improve the readability and flow of your content.
To stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and best practices, I would recommend reading industry publications like Search Engine Journal, Marketing Land, and Hubspot. They offer a wealth of information on various marketing topics, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with AI-generated content if it is good. From what I have seen, it is certainly far better than most of the content I read online these days by people who have no clue about spelling or grammar. The problem, of course, is how is someone who has no clue how to spell or write grammatically correct sentences going to know if the AI content that has been generated is good or not?

I find it hard to believe that any search engine is going to penalize meaningful, relevant content, regardless of who or what wrote it. Ironic, though, that an industry that uses robots to rank and list websites would be penalize robots that write it.

You want to use AI generated content for WHAT purpose? Read what Dave Hermansen wrote in this thread.

But here is the thing. For you and about 98% of other New Warriors, or returning to marketing types. You all, for the most part, put the cart before the horse. Which means doing things in the wrong order...the horse pulls the cart, it doesn't push it. You and many other here are trying to push the cart up the hill with the horse behind it.

So, today, I will be giving all New Warriors a basic lesson in making money online, or offline for that matter. Here it tis:

Money making activity does not exist with just yourself. So, that means YOU and at least one other ENTITY, note I did not write person. An entity could be a Corporation, a Government; City, State, Federal or Organization or group.

Then there must be an EXCHANGE of agreed upon value. Note I did not write money, value can be money, or goods and services.

Warriors want to make money with Internet Marketing (IM), and most will follow the tested and proven path of making INDIVIDUAL transactions for money. Or, selling something to somebody online.

YOU can start with the someTHING, or you can start with the someONE. As an experienced marketer with decades under my belt, the fastest and surest way is with the someone; someone who is a buyer. In IM talk, a TARGET market or a person who is known to buy in that arena.

But you can start with the something also, maybe you have a new app, or a report or book or widget...whatever the THING is, you may already have it, and now you have to find the buyers.

Whether you start with a thing or a targeted person, you will need an INTERSECTION online, a place where your offer is going to meet your prospect.

With a thing, you want to intersect with potential buyers, hopefully with those that have already shown a willingness to buy such a thing. With a targeted person, you will want to have the intersection where they already are.

Then there has to be a way to EXCHANGE value, or with IM, how do they pay you? How and where does the transaction take place.

All of these questions should be answered BEFORE you start your IM.

So, some examples for you all to learn from.

Warrior Forum is a MARKETPLACE, like eBay, etsy, Facebook, Craigslist, etc.

You can sell your thing right here in the WSO section. Like all marketplaces, there is built in traffic. Which makes things easier, as far as reaching your targeted market.
There are beginner marketplaces, (I like Gumroad), where one can begin and have all the elements of IM built in, including the taking of money, and delivery of product, if you match their criteria.

Now...IF you want quicker success, and faster income, spend some time and answer these questions first.

Who are you trying to TRANSACT WITH? Why? OR
WHAT are you wanting to offer and to whom and for how much? Where?

These are basic fundamentals, which as we read through this section, gets mostly ignored.

Not knowing what you want to do is fine, but wouldn't it be a better starting point if you had some idea of what you wanted, and why??

How much money do you desire to make in the next year? Why? What will you use it for?
What skills, knowledge, experience do you bring with you to IM and the WF? How can you maximize those?

WHO is going to buy from you? Where? When? HOW?

Who already has the customers that I would want to be my customers? What are they doing, what can I do which might help us both or can I do better?

WHO do you want as a customer, client, consumer?

    So to summarize:

How much money do you desire to make from your IM? How much in a year/month/week?

What will you offer to your target market?
How and where does the TRANSACTION take place.

Answer these few questions first, and you will have hooked the horse up the right way to pull your cart to success, OK?

    Any Questions?

    GordonJ

First and foremost what causecd you to stop marketing for 10 years . Was it due to a lack of passion or burn out ?

It's important to identify why you stopped so that you don't end up in the same situation again .

Use original content not duplicate content. Do your key word search based on your target audience and your topic.

Many things have changed, for sure. However, you still can use your learnt skills from the past - and learn new skills - in order to provide value.

    What should I read first?
This depends on your specific marketing niche, if you have any. Start where you are most comfortable with first, then expand, little by little. It's a fluid playground, so be ready to adapt.

What should I use for keyword research?
Now, you entered the AI era

I know Google are not supposed to be penalising AI content but they probably will soon enough.
Well. I am not sure about that. Google is already into AI, and will probably join the open source AI playfield soon, as per their last letters, they're starting to scared that open source has gone too fast too far, and they're not advanced in the AI-game as much as they wanted.
