How to selling a Design Services ?

Hi there, I am new to this forum I am 24 years old and just graduated from collage. I had a decent Job, and trying to start small one man graphic design agency just for a side hustle and fill my free time rather than scrolling trough my social media feed.

I have 3 years of experience as a part time graphic design in a start up when I was at university
What should I do first ? and how do I find the people that need my services ?

    The first thing to do is learn about online marketing.

    Then set up a website that highlights your work and
    use social media to promote it.

    Research whether A.I. like Midjourney can be used
    to generate the type of graphics you plan to offer.

    This way you can determine whether you can use
    A.I. in your work, or if your customers could create
    their own graphics.

    Consider developing your own products like print on
    demand, digital downloads, stock images, etc.

    Broaden your skills to producing videos as there will
    always be a demand and because you can use them
    for countless purposes.

    Devise a strategy before you start anything, so that
    you don't waste your time.

      I am plaing to do the same things. Since digital / online marketing do well in this era of internet. Do you mind sahring more information about this topic. Can you tell me where do I start if I want to learn about digital marketing

        You can start by reading this forum, watching YouTubes,
        reading books, and all the same things that you would do
        to learn about any other topic.

        It could take a long time to learn all the necessary things
        but don't worry about that now, just work with what you
        already know and learn the basics as you go along.

        None of this is rocket science.

        In order to become a successful internet marketer, you
        need curiosity, the ability to research, think differently,
        and develop new ideas and methods.

        Focus on creating income, instead of getting wrapped
        around the axle with minutia.

    i would sign up to freelancing sites like fivver.com or upwork, were people look for your services, or you can buy these products, be a seller or a buyer hope this helps

      Hi there... yup I already made an account on those websites. But I dont know, if I bid a job on upwork I think its not considered by the people who post the job... My bid will be way down there in the bottom, and you can only bid a few job if you only have free account.

      I am thinking like doing more outreach on some people thats potential to be my client.. do you have some thoughts on that ?
