A complete newbie but willing to learn. I have bought a number of programs and seek more knowledge on prioritizing which ones to work on first to generate the eventual "income-replacement" money I need and want.

Thank you in advance.

    Hello Newbie!

It would help to have a general idea about the types
of programs that you are referring to, but the way to
prioritize your online business venture is to start with
something that requires the least amount of effort
that would result in the largest profit.

This will be difficult for a newcomer to achieve, so the
next way to prioritize is to do things that you already
know how to do, so there isn't a steep learning curve.

As an example, if you already know how to develop
websites, then you would do things such as setting
them up for yourself to promote affiliate offers or sell
things on, develop them to sell on marketplaces like
    Flippa, etc.

If you write, then you would do content development
things like blogging, copywriting, publishing ebooks,
and any other writing jobs that can be monetized.

And if you are multifaceted, you can do all sorts of
    things.

Come back with some details so that we can better
assist you with your online endeavors.

Here is the list. I have been in the mortgage biz for 40+ years but it is so slow right now that I am earnestly seeking something else. Thoughts?

John Thornhill's Ambassador program (Bought a month ago and have gone through a few of the modules but he keeps sending me more "new" upgrades and program systems before I even have a chance to learn and implement the original. Doesnt respond to his help desk or support asking questions)

Jason Fulton Cash Catalyst (I have no idea of how this one works and he sends out a new system and program several times per week. So confused)

Sophie Howard KDP 2 birds with 1 stone. (Still trying to figure this one out. Do I or dont I need a website to point customers to??)

Kevin Fahey online marketing course. (Again I have watched videos and it confuses me even more)

James Bonadies and their Local Marketing Vault. They supposedly teach me how to market business for an ongoing income. Still has very little support or how to actually implement the program and system

Thoughts? You want thoughts, you got em.

My perspective is; 40 years means you have TONS of stored value in your experience, it is an evergreen huge market with continuous parade of life...yet, you seem to have found several things totally unrelated. Why? Now this is the important part, if you choose to answer and share...I'll give you some insights.

Who was the first course? When? And how did you learn about it, where did you find out about it? Then, what was the second and same questions.

Then, why 3 more? I have anecdotal proof that first GURU contact will determine whether one has rapid success or languishes...most languish.

In using search engines, I see that almost all of these have scores of REVIEW sites, and it is SOP in IM to tell affiliates to build review sites to tout your affiliate programs.

Do a search, see maybe 48 out of the first 50 all tell how great JT's AMBASSADOR program, and all with links to buy. See? The only real review gave it a C, at stoppingscams dot com, it wasn't called a scam, but a C grade isn't where I would start.

It would appear the secret to success with that one is set up a review site and tell everyone how great the course is.

Cash Catalyst is also highly recommended by its affiliates. Again, most review sites sing high praise. Although some on Reddit had some disparaging comments, and what on Reddit doesn't?

Of the five I am familiar with Warrior Kevin Fahey and also the KDP program. It appears you have bought your way to the state of confusion. Aside from these affiliate ideas, what else have you explored?

See, what most of these type of courses leave out is the EXPENSE of customer acquisition, which a mortgage guy would be aware of. Most of the ones you selected need some PAID ads to generate traffic, and that, as thousands of other affiliates compete for the newbies, so you have to be able to create ADS that work, and that learning curve has a pretty high cost to it.

What they all share is the FAST/EASY anyone, even a beginner, CAN do it approach...all sold as a quick solution to get you started making money quickly with your IM. ALL of these programs rely on heavy handed copywriting, selling the hope/dream.

The reason I ask for information as to WHERE and WHEN you came across these, gives insight into how they market, YOU were in the target group, you, a fish in their pond and it seems some hooked you in. This info alone, will give you insight into what YOU would be doing to sell their products.

Now there are other options, and maybe of all of the courses you mentioned, a deeper look at KDP, and information products. Sure there are a million and one reports and books and courses about the mortgage industry, but you have valuable experience if you learn how to mine it.

Selling what you already have is, in my opinion, better than selling what somebody else has.

With affiliates, there is a time/money ratio, if you have the money you can expedite success by buying ads, without money, it will take TIME to build your audience.

        You are seeking something else.

But it looks like you went on a how to make money online search as your first step, correct me if I'm wrong, only going off of the courses you listed here. I like self assessment as a first step, which may lead to discovery of valuable assets, like your 40 years of knowledge, for example.

Along with the mortgage industry, what hobbies or interest do you have? Where do you live (often hidden value)? What do you want, other than just making money online? I gather you are not the young person...so your age plays a part in your selection.

Thanks for sharing with us, what you've been doing, I believe you will find some useful information here as you get to know the WF better (archives especially) and we get to know you.

Let us DEconfuse you if we can. Keep it simple.

        You need SOMETHING TO SELL.
Someone who wants to buy and the money and means to do so.
An INTERSECTION of those two things. Everything else is all related to those.

        GordonJ

I can imagine that it's difficult when your industry collapses
and you have less income, you are probably desperate, and
that is why you bought into these programs.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to learn but you have
to bear in mind that most of those people are out to make
money, they won't be of much use or assistance because
they don't care and the things they supposedly teach are
        probably useless as well.

The first thing you should do is educate yourself about the
fundamentals of online business such as having websites,
using social media, and the various methods that would
interest you and things you know how to do.

I would suggest promoting mortgage, insurance, and other
financial affiliate products. You can search online for those
as I cannot post links to those here.

I also recommend reading about passive income. You will
probably need to do active work right now, but you always
want to have passive things in the background even if they
only generate a couple hundred dollars a month.

Passive income can be attained through publishing various
content, selling digital downloads, having print on demand
shops, affiliate marketing, and anything that doesn't require
much effort after you have set them all up.

There are several marketplaces and platforms that get good
traffic where you can sell things or push affiliate offers, you
can research and decide what is best for you.

And I highly recommend that you utilize all the various A.I.
systems that are available now. They can educate, assist,
develop, and produce things that will generate income.

For goodness sake - stop buying 'stuff'. You haven't completed any of the programs, don't seem to understand them (they don't hand hold or answer a dozen 'help' messages as you've learned).

You don't have a plan ...'make money online' is not a plan. The 'programs' you've purchased are all over the place - kindle books - affiliate sales - online marketing....

That you say more than once that you don't understand the 'training' tells us you haven't learned the basics yet of having an online presence.

If you want/need to earn some income fairly quickly....go to the thread below and READ IT. Read all of savidge4's posts in that thread (you can skip many of the others in the thread first time through).

    https://www.warriorforum.com/warrior...days-ebay.html

If you are determined to use the 'programs' you've purchased - choose ONE that is aimed toward those new to working online - and read every word - follow every 'do this' or 'do that' and study every example given.
