What are the basics of internet marketing?

I have been trying to do internet marketing for about 3 months now but unfortunately i have to cash in my PayPal account. i have tried WebStarts and free webs. i dont know how to charge people with things (ex. membership, selling,donations,ect.) i need help

Please, go visit the main forum. Read the rules.
Then more importantly read the posts, there's gold in them there threads!.
Use the search function, i.e. search "how to make a paypal button and link it to my sales page", "what's the best free membership site program to use", "how do I secure my download links", etc.
Take the time to read the posts. Then read the rules again.
