Title: NEED crash course on conversions and click tracking

Just curious. I think its about time I start tracking my clicks if I want to get
serious about conversions, but I'm no familiar with tracking at all. Nor where to
start. So far I've heard of hypertracker, but I'm not a fan of the design - it seems
a bit "outdated". I've also been bombarded with alot of terms that I get the general
gist of - but am not entirely sure of what they mean.

I need a crash course in this stuff pretty bad.

Secondly wanna know how these things work. I THINK ive heard they send a cookie or
something and it'll "track" any purchase from there on out. correct?

If anyone has any tutorials on this - I'd be glad to see em.

Or any services they can reccommend.

1) Yes track your clicks. That's important data. You can use CrazyEgg for that - they're cheap when it comes to click tracking.
2) Here's an 8-part crash-course on CRO: The Definitive Guide To Conversion Optimization
3) Cookies or onclick tracking - doesn't really matter and you don't really need to know that yet. Unless you're planning on coding stuff.

Hope this helps.

It can be rather hectic when it comes to tracking but thankfully... that's why there are systems in place. There are numerous tutorials on YouTube, but you'll need to know tracking platforms in order to see what they can do, and if they do what you're looking for.

I highly recommend ClickMagick and Quality Click Control but that's me coming from a solo ads industry background, however these tools apply to anything you're going to do in your business.

I'll drop you a message once I've found some good tutorials.

Finally someone recommends Neil Patel when it comes to CRO.
In my opinion he has the best advices when it comes to conversion rate optimization!

There are lots more out there. Neil is good but he doesn't specialize in CRO. I find Peep Laja and the guys at Conversion Rate Optimization | Conversion Rate Experts outstanding.
