Split Testing : I'm getting more and cheaper clicks for Mobile Ads as placement ( Facebook ) ... Do people really buy Stuff ( T-Shirts ) on their cell phone ? Whats does your Data / Experience say ? ( I'm must getting started and do have any sales to compare ) ... I personally never bought anything on my cell phone ( unless it was an emergency .. when I'm traveling .. train ticket / bus ticket etc.. ) .. then again I love to sit on my 24" display at home .. and pull up pictures .. compare prices etc... I would rather forward myself the link so I can shop on my computer back home.. but just might just be me... |

Yes, people buy stuffs from their mobile. However, rather than posting an ad it will be good if you develop a mobile app for your business. It will surely increase your sales. The product should be of high quality.

From personal experience I rather purchase on my desktop PC as well. But I can imagine a lot of orders (in fashion & Amazon in particular) to come from tables & phones. |

Collecting certain fields may be an issue, be mindful of fat finger syndrome when planning your process.

It is so much easier to whip out your phone, open the specific shopping app / the browser and shop things online at a much faster rate and at any location (which I think would be not as comfortable with a laptop). Most websites are now responsive and also have mobile apps to make it quick and convenient for people to buy from mobile. |

I prefer to purchase on my PC. But if I'm out and I'm time pressed, I may purchase on my phone. Granted, I have an IPhone 4S so the process of purchasing isn't near as good as when I'm on my home's PC.

Facebook has a huge user base that only access their services through mobile devices. Around 50% if I remember correctly. I use my phone to buy stuff unless I have to research and compare which is better on desktop. So mobile works for impulse buyers, especially if the payment method is really fast.

I have purchased on my phone before. I have also gotten sales and leads for affiliate products that weren't optimized for mobile traffic.

As for me, I think it is not a bad idea! 21 centuries is a period of IT discovering and iPhone’s revolutions! A lot of us use mobile phone more often than newspapers, or magazines! That is why, such apps can save you time, maybe money (Aliexpress gives a lot of discounts when you buy something by phone) and it is very comfortable! But why not?))

Here's something to consider: Often times, just building a "responsive" site isn't good enough. If you really want them to be able to make purchases with their phones, it's usually necessary to build a separate dedicated site just for this. Obviously it will need to be clean and simple as possible, everything will need to be one hand operable while still keeping the end goal in mind. |

The only thing I ever, ever, buy with my phone are apps and epub books for the same phone. The thought of my phone having credit card and password details stored on it gives me the heebie jeebies - but I really cannot be asked to keep remembering passwords. On my PC or laptop I use Lastpass and Roboform but I'm not sticking that kind of thing on my phone, as phones are too easy to hack. But yes, plenty of people do; as long as the site works well with a phone they'll buy. |

When I interviewed someone who was doing really well with Teespring... I remember him saying most of his conversions came from mobile. For any campaigns I doon FB... I usually split my desktop and mobile to see what converts better. | |
