Dan Kennedy "I'll buy everything" advanced purchasing program

This is a question for people who avidly follow Dan Kennedy.

At one point, he had a program where his biggest fans could pay an enormous amount of money up front, or per year, which pre-bought them everything new he came out with during that time period. It went beyond "sight unseen" to accommodate people who didn't care what it was, if it was from Dan Kennedy, they wanted it and wanted it right away.

Anyone know what that program was called?

Anyone see anyone offering something like that now?

Thanks! This is for an article I am writing.

    Marcia,

He's had several, The Whole Enchilida, between 9k and 16 k delivered all his current stuff, and for awhile there was an upsell to one of his groups, Platinum if memory serves. Don't recall the name of the "Enchilada PLUS" program.

Here is one guy's story about his purchase:
    Who decides?

I've had several "Lifetime" memberships, and almost all are gone, because it apparently means; "the lifetime of this business before I cut bait and run".

I'll dig through the archives if you need the exact promotion or the name,. ok?

      Gordon,

The Whole Enchilada was, as far as I can recall, a bundle of products that already existed.

What I'm talking about is a program where people pre-committed - maybe even prepaid - for stuff that did not even exist yet.

      Thanks,
      Marcia

I received this not too long ago which sorta fits the bill:

EDIT - link removed as it had my email address in it, and Marcia's thanked the post so I assume she's downloaded it.

  • Sorry, I don't know about the "program."

But many, many years ago at a DK seminar (can't recall which one) Dan mentioned that a member of the audience (I'm assuming it was a platinum member) had given his credit card details to Carla with instructions to -

"Send me everything the minute it's available"

Speaking of Dan Kennedy, he has an interesting promotion underway. It's called "Source Code".

In the marketing videos he talks about attracting money and gives money human characteristics. He also takes the opportunity to knock certain well-known online marketers, not by name, but by inference.

To me (my opinion), the marketing principles talked about sound like same-o, same-o... just coming from a different angle. Which is of course a time-honored tradition used by smart, successful marketers.

Here's the link if you'd like to take a gander...

It's highly unlikely it's any different from his recent book, NO B.S. WEALTH ATTRACTION, which by the way is quite good.

Of course some people would rather buy an expensive video course than a low-cost paperback...

  • Yes, many do.

It was about a hundred years ago (give or take) when Kennedy explained how to turn a $9.99 paperback into a $999.00 (or whatever) info product.

For me, it's a shame to see DK on a landing page because at one time there was only 2 of us who "were never keen" on the interweb.

Now it may only be me (sobs).

    Steve

P.S. So, Steve why aren't you "keen" on the world fastest growing medium the incredible world wide web. The land of hope, fame and massive riches...

…because Postcards and Sales letters do all this faster.

Actually Kennedy answered this far better than me in his interviews and seminars.

most of its the same, but hes realized that people want "new" and "shiny" and don't really care much about the content atall

most of the people who buy his new stuff already own his old stuff

so he doesnt have to do much when coming up with new products except change the "casing" it comes in

(slightly paraphrased....but yh thats his philosophy)

yeah the source code offer is his newest one. if you get in at like $20 you get access to his forum. just read through some stuff today. it is actually pretty good. but as with all learning materials, can be hard to keep track of it all and remember.
