Where to ask clients to leave reviews?

Where do others request clients to leave reviews for their copywriting businesses? And are you simply adding a link to invoices or how are you driving clients there to wherever you're requesting a review?

Most of my clients are on LinkedIn and potential customers are too, but I don't believe there's a place there to leave reviews on a small business.

And I would think Google Business and Yelp wouldn't be relevant to a solopreneur copywriting business.

I have some testimonials on my site, but that would require companies to already know about my business.

I feel with how slow things are suddenly last year and going into this year, I should have been on top of this much sooner, but better late than never and I'd like to make it easy for customers to leave a review or star rating somewhere.

If there's a platform that others are using or can recommend where you're collecting reviews from clients, please let me know.

    As an old timer, I tend to use parchment and ink for my copy, and am hooked up to the interweb with a yard of wire and a few elastic bands.

    And always thought "platforms" were made of wood where musicians played.

    So, I'm not technically efficient to give you a definitive answer.

    Hopefully others can.

    But if I was in your situation re sending testimonials I would say something like - (providing you can back it all up).

    "Please email me and I'll be delighted to send you samples of my wondrous words and the glowing comments from my ecstatic clients with the barnstorming results they enjoyed"

    It should entice people to ask.

      Getting testimonials isn't a problem. I'm looking for a place where clients can leave me reviews that other potential clients would see and was curious if there's a mainstream site others are using or best practice that other small copywriting businesses/freelancers use. As mentioned, Google Business and Yelp don't seem relevant for our industry. And unfortunately, as far as I can tell for LinkedIn business pages, there's no way for customers to leave reviews. Missed opportunity for Microsoft/LinkedIn!

    i would say to leave reviews on your website or if they are on your email list can leave them via that
